Math Practice

This is a free interactive Mobipocket ebook to help students practice math. It can be used on Palm or Pocket PC and includes problem sets for integers (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing positive and negative integers), algebra (simple one- and two-step problems), and fractions (simplifying, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions). Causes and Effects - A Changing America
This interactive Mobipocket ebook (also available as a web page) is designed to help students identify causes and effects. The book includes a selection of short reading passages on various topics related to the changing America (exploration, colonization, westward expansion). After each passage, students are asked to identify causes and effects. This book is intended for upper elementary age students, but can be used at a variety of levels.

These are three webquests for the March Madness NCAA Basketball tournament. They are available as an offline version for use on handhelds with Plucker and an online version for web use.

This is an alphabet book for young children. It was created from the Animal Alphabet book on Wikijunior and made into these video and ebook files. Thanks to Randy Wilson for the inspiration and the original work.

Poetry
Poetry is a great way to engage kids in reading and language development. Writing poetry lets kids express themselves creatively and “break the rules.” This FREE curriculum unit includes two ebooks: a poetry anthology and a book on different types of poetry. There is also a poetry scavenger hunt and a quiz on types of poetry.
