Each year it seems harder to schedule workshops. Subs and release days are difficult. Everyone has busy schedules. And there are so many important topics to cover, but time and space is limited.

Audio and video podcasts can help provide a solution to this. They also have the benefits of allowing time shifting and providing just-in-time support.

In this show, I highlight podcasts from educational conferences. This show is a bit longer than what I usually do, but the content is so rich that I just couldn’t resist sharing slightly longer clips than usual!

There are great conferences going on every month of the year, and the information presented at them is a source of important professional development. No one has time to go to them all though.

Now, many conferences are distributing their best sessions as podcasts. When combined with blogs and wikis to facilitate discussion, this is almost as good as being there.
